Congressmen letter implores DeMaurice Smith to meet with George Martin

Dear NFL Alumni:

Please read the letter from three Congressmen to DeMaurice Smith requesting that he have a face-to-face meeting with George Martin to discuss the overall benefits for former players and ways in which the two of them can work together to provide fair and equitable improvements -NOW – before we lose another former player due to his inability to receive adequate health benefits and financial support.

I’ll keep you posted on Mr. Smith’s response (if any) to the letter.
